What We Do...

The Joan Roberts Foundation is a 501c3 certified corporation and every donation we receive is tax deductable for you and your business. We have two major events each year. In the spring we have our Joan Roberts Foundation Golf Classic and in September we have a themed evening event.
Keifer's BBQ is a subsidiary of the Joan Roberts Foundation. They have developed and bottled two bbq sauces to help in the funding for the education and awareness of ovarian cancer. Keifer's BBQ competes in various BBQ contests and participates in festivals around the southeast to help get the word out about this terrible disease.

How we Started...

The Joan Roberts Foundation was created in the memory of a great mother, wife, and friend. Her son, Keith Roberts had a vision on Mother's Day in 2004, shortly after her death, to some how and some way figure out how to help others with this terrible disease. Keith started a non-profit coporation to raise funds for the education and awareness of ovarian cancer. This is the first step of the huge stairs to climb to help the women in need with this terrible disease. We hope to reach as many women as we can, and to let them know that
 "It Whispers, So Listen!"
